What Swetrix is like
Swetrix is an open-source web analytics tool made by Swetrix Ltd, a company based in Edinburgh, United Kingdom. It works without cookies: visitors are counted with an anonymous hash of the IP address and browser that changes every day, and nothing is stored on the visitor's device. Swetrix Cloud stores its data on Hetzner servers in Germany.
Besides traffic, referrers, UTM campaigns and custom events, every plan includes funnels, user flows, error tracking and performance monitoring, a Google Search Console report and alerts. The Plus plan adds session replays, feature flags and A/B tests. Historical data can be imported from Google Analytics and other tools without counting toward the plan.
Prices depend on monthly events, which include pageviews, custom events and error events. The Standard plan starts at $19 a month for 100,000 events and 10 websites, and extra websites are sold in bundles of 50. Yearly billing costs ten months. There is no free cloud plan, only a 14-day trial that needs a card, but the AGPL-licensed Community Edition can be self-hosted for free.
